Q: Where are you located?

A: Charting Creations is run out of my home in Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada. If you are local and want to stop by, I don’t have a physical shop, but I’d be happy to have you for a cup of tea!

Q: Do you ship charts and products worldwide?

A: Yes we do! We ship anywhere, keeping in mind postal delivery time frames will vary depending on where you are located. For Canadian orders, we normally ship with Canada Post, USA orders are sent via freight forwarder to New York and shipped via USPS, and International orders are sent flat rate via local carrier. We offer low cost flat rate shipping for our orders. This may mean a parcel could take a bit longer to reach you, but the cost savings are substantial. For larger or bulkier packages, we may ship with UPS or another carrier to save on cost. Any major shipping overages will be refunded back to your method of payment. 

Q: Do you do custom charts?

A: I can do custom charts from a photograph or artwork you own the copyright to, or you have obtained permission from the copyright holder for. My general fee is $30 USD, which includes PDF chart delivery; if you would like a printed chart shipping and printing costs will apply.

Q: Where do your kits come from?

A: Kits of Charting Creations charts are made here in house. We offer low cost flat rate, VAT free shipping on our kit orders!

Q: How long will it take for my kit to be made and arrive?

A: Our goal is to have kits made and shipped within 15 business days of order; however, due to volume this may not always be possible. We will keep you updated of any delays, and send you a shipping notice and tracking information once your kit leaves our location. Shipping time frames will vary depending on where we are sending; feel free to email us anytime for specific information regarding your order.  

Q: Do you have layaway?

A: Yes, you can choose layaway as a payment option during checkout. We have flexible payment terms of 3, 6, or 12 months equal payments. You will be auto invoiced and have 30 days to pay that month’s before the next is sent. You can make additional payments or pay your order off in full anytime, just send us an email. Layaway is available for any products we carry on the site, so it's a great way to to budget all your stash needs!

Q: Why do products have different ship times listed?

A: While we stock many products here in house, we also have access to a large vendor network. Any products shipping within 2 business days are in house, and 10, 14, and 21 business days reflect the approximate lead time to order and receive items in to fill your order from our vendors. Your shipment will be sent in it's entirety once all products have arrived. If there are any major delays, or the vendor replies with an out of stock notice, you will be promptly contacted to offer a refund or explore other options. 

Q: You don't have the fabric, floss, accessory, etc that I need, can you order it for me?

A: Absolutely! As long as we can source it from one of our suppliers, we are happy to order in anything you have need of. Just send us an email and let us help! 

Q: How do I pay with a credit card?

A: Our site payment provider is PayPal, however, you don’t have to have an account with them. You can checkout and use your credit/debit card for payment.

Q: Help! My download didn’t work!

A: Don’t panic, we can help! Just send us a message through the website, and we can reissue the download, or even email it if necessary. Also, while we encourage you to back up your purchases, we understand that technology fails. If you need a prior purchase resent, we are happy to do so, just drop us a message.

Q: Do your charts use any specialty stitches or fractional stitches?

A: Aside from the CC Original charts, the full coverage charts are all full stitches; no backstitching, fractionals or blends.

Q: What fabric count should I use?

A: Any that you want to!  Although they are charted for 25 count, you can use whatever fabric count you like, keeping in mind it will have an effect on the finished size of the piece, and the amount of materials required.  We do recommend that you do a small bit of test stitching prior to starting to ensure you are happy with your choice.

Q: Do you have wholesale accounts?

A: Absolutely, we are always excited to offer our charts to retail shops and websites to sell. We partner with ICG Crafts to ship our charts to wholesale customers worldwide. Please send us a message for wholesale details.

Q: What currency is your site in?

A: The default site currency is in USD, but you can change to other popular currencies in the upper right column. Keep in mind the amounts shown are estimates based on the current day exchange rate; the actual amount billed by your bank may differ slightly.
